Mountain River Ministries is a non-profit organization established in 2006 as a counseling and inner healing ministry. Based on the scripture "May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1Thes. 5:23), our vision is to provide affordable counseling, play therapy, and inner healing for wounded people without causing undue financial strain. No one is turned away for lack of resources. We offer individual, group, and marriage counseling, as well as Bible study groups and Sunday "cell church". We meet for intercessory prayer every Thursday evening. We also support missionary groups, such as Grace Chapel for the nations in India. God has blessed us with a facility able to accommodate special events and celebrations for anyone interested. We dream of Mountain River being a "connecting" place for people and their needs; physical, spiritual, emotional, and material.
